More about WRLDs Objects.
Below are a group of WRLDs System Objects. With System Objects each trading period creates a single object designed to be linked together with other objects in a vertical form. These objects are also designed to place multiple vertical forms in a larger space, creating a landscape of data. Here 3 vertical groups are placed together. System Objects have a coded visual system on their surface, which conveys the stock symbol, the number of shares traded and the number of times the position was held, (round trips made). System Objects can be printed in either fused ceramic or as a wax model to be produced in porcelain.

System Objects 1

Once printed, a users trading data becomes a frozen moment of information and an object in both social and architectural space.

Within the WRLDs System, participants could generate both virtual 3D and physical objects from their trading data. Translating trading data into these new forms creates a shareable “social object” from the symbolic language of trading. WRLDs System Objects convey the abstracted methods of trades through both their form, and their visual codes.

System Objects 2
Below is another version of System Objects, designed be placed on a stainless steel framework, creating a visual form which refers to an abacus. The frame offered a method for illuminating the objects from inside, showing the changes of density in the forms which related to information within a trade.
